SkillDash is now StockSimulatorBD

Today, we are announcing the next chapter of our platform: SkillDash is now StockSimulatorBD.

The new name better explains what we are building—a Bangladesh-focused environment for learning stock-market concepts, practising DSE-style trading decisions, and exploring portfolio management with virtual money.

Why we changed the name

SkillDash was created around the broader idea of skill-building. As the product developed, its clearest mission became financial education through market simulation.

StockSimulatorBD gives that mission a more direct identity:

• Stock Simulator explains the paper-trading and learning experience.

• BD reflects the Bangladesh market focus.

• The name makes it easier for students, new investors, and educators to understand what the platform is for before they sign up.

What stays the same

The rebrand does not change the core educational purpose of the platform. StockSimulatorBD remains focused on helping users practise market concepts before risking real money.

The platform is intended to support learning around:

• Portfolio construction.

• Buy and sell decisions.

• Profit-and-loss concepts.

• DSE-style market rules and order constraints.

What we are building next

The StockSimulatorBD roadmap focuses on making paper trading more useful, understandable, and relevant for Bangladesh-market learners.
